Pans Labyrinth
Lighting techniques give this film a majical feel, "the stuff of legends" and reminds us of the ancient nature of the story.

Vivre sa vie - Jean-Luc Godard
Notice the framing and exposure, it feels akward and Nana faces out of the image. The window outside is well exposed, showing the bright day, emphasising the darkness inside.
Later when she dances the camera work is flows, framing carrying her gracefully in the frame.

Tracking shot - Hand held ( steadycam)
This shot is handheld but using a steadycam. The hand held nature of the camera gives an unsettling feel to the scene, unlike Boogie Nights where the track is smoother.

Sin City
Sin City uses the graphic novel for a basis of its design. It uses a high lighting ratio, which gives the film a dark and ominous feel. Occastional use of colour is used to highlight characters, focus the audience.

Jan van Eyck
Example of an early non linear narrative.
With a painting the viewer has a personal perspective on how they view the narrative. Similarly interactive narrative gives the audience control over the perspective of the narrative but also allows them to change it, make the outcome more solid and less "imaginary".
